final thoughts.....

This year went by in a flash. There has been so many good memories, in and out of school, that I can honestly say this has been the best year of my life. Its weird thinking that these will be the last times i walk through these halls as a student. I have grown up here, and its sad to see everyone move away, even if it is for better things. Ill miss Bayshore High school, and all who inhabit it.
Although.... ill miss everyone here, I am excited to see what will happen next, I'm excited to go to college, to meet new people, and to experience new things. Going to college is gonna open many doors for me, and is gonna start my life out on the right foot.
I cant wait to see what is in store for me next.

texting while driving.....

I think texting while driving is an all around bad idea. Texting at lights is one thing, but taking your attention from the road to text is completely different. Seeing all of these accidents in the news that involve texting definitely shows why its so dangerous, and makes me not want to text and drive. I took the pledge because it was something not hard for me to do. I agree with the cause and think that by not texting it makes me a safer person while driving.

Why being a senior sucks....

Being a senior in high school is extremely stressful time. between graduation, planning for the rest of my life, bills, work, school, friends, its just really overwhelming. But, I HAVE A PLAN.
I will refuse to let it stress me out. I will take the things one at a time, and i will not get ahead of myself.
Being a senior is stressful, but it can only ruin you if you let it.

transcendentalism movie.

ask, believe, recieve

Spring break wasn't exciting at all, and I don't have too much to say about transcendentalism. So im gonna write about the law of attraction...
::::
The Law of Attraction argues that thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) can affect things outside the head, not just through motivation, but by other means.
Basically negative thoughts, and actions, conjure negative situations. If you think positive, and happy, you lead a happy and positive life.

It can affect the material aspect of our lives as well. Directing your energy into something you desire can conjure the said object into your life in some discreet way.

First you have to know what you want. This is where you need to get clear on what it is you want to create and visualise what you want as being as 'real' as possible.

Then, you have to believe it. Focus your thoughts on what it is you want to attract. You want to feel the feeling of really 'knowing' that what you desire is on its way to you, even if you have to trick yourself into believing it – do it.

Then you will receive it. Be open to receiving it. Pay attention to your intuitive messages, synchronicities, signs from the Universe to help you along the way as assurance you are on the 'right' path. As you align yourself with the Universe and open yourself up to receiving, the very thing you are wanting to manifest will show up.

Its easy....

challenge #4

Write a post about an environmental field trip you went on, maybe to the rubbish dump or cleaning up a creek etc.

When i was in the fifth grade we went on a field trip to the city landfill. It was a little gross, seeing trash from the day before baking in the sun like a nice cake. Plus, the surrounding creeks were filled with algae and trash. But a plus was that it was a really fun experience, seeing how the whole process works. From delivery, processing, sorting, and eventually the burial, its a very tech savvy operation. Our bus driver definitely added to the whole experience. By cracked hilarious jokes, and doing other things that made the trip really fun. He actually drove are bus halfway up a hill then rolled it backwards down the hill and across the bridge which didn't make the parents too happy.

Pictures... makeup

Using photos of yourself on your blog, I think can be useful in many ways, and should be done at your discretion. Having real life photos of yourself on your blog could be useful in many different ways. In describing oneself, making a statement about yourself, etc. It's pretty universal. So it should be up to the blogger to know whether it is appropriate. Obviously a person should be able to deviate between a photo being school appropriate or not. So that undermines the appropriate vs. inappropriate argument.

The main argument in students being able to use their pictures, is 'predators' lurking the digital jungle. I understand how a photo could be provocative and misleading, but if it is within the school guidelines it should be appropriate for everyone in the world to see, without being aroused.

Using self photos is a universal way to express oneself. It tells a story, shows yourself, and helps describe you.

I live.....

I live in a place where people take vacations. Its usually sunny and warm considering we live in a tropical climate. I can throw a stone from my backyard, and it will land in the gulf of Mexico. It's something very close to paradise. Florida, specifically Bradenton, Florida is where i reside.

Its pretty nice here, I think that I see it differently because I have lived here my whole life. But living within minutes of Anna Maria Island is definitely a plus considering that its a vacation destination for many Northern travelers. Its right in between Tampa, and Sarasota so there are many different things to do here. Like fishing, hunting, Tampa's night life, and beaching it. Growing

HellaFlush...

The hellaflush trend is a car styling technique that is sweeping the nation. Fast cars, slammed on the ground, with sick fitment and BIG wheels.
Heres what I'm talking about.

The deep dish look is sought after in the car world. Perfect wheel fitment is a must. To achieve this there has to be virtually no clearance between the tire and body. Giving the flush look. There's many different ways to lower a car. Coilovers which is a dampener and gives you a tighter ride, Air ride which gives you the option of raising and lowering the car, and spring strut combo for a lower ride hight. Either way, you can still achieve the stance, and look you are trying to achieve.

Army Tough Guy Trampled by Deer.
On August 4th, 2009, Borg Vonshmooganshmash was walking through the woods, when he was trampled by a wild, rabid pack of deer. Vonshmooganshmash was walking through the woods on the way to the medicine mans house to get a love potion, to lure Yark Boardwallbenshmoogan into his arms. Yark Boardwallbenshmoogan, was an ugly french maid that he had met at fish market, where he was buying some halibut for dinner. When he met her the first time it was love at first sight. She had long red hair, brown eyes, and moles all over her face, and a 5' o clock shadow. Vonshmooganshmash needed the love potion because Boardwallbenshmoogan would not date anyone who was poor and owned no pigs. But borg didnt care.

5 things teachers should do....

1. Make a fun atmosphere.
Kids retain information better when there more involved. Have activities that are fun for students to partake in.

2. Listen to students
A lot of teachers don't really listen to students. They listen but don't really get what we say.

3. be approachable.
Some teachers are not approachable, students are intimidated by them. So be nicer, and more approachable.

4. be willing to help.
Some teachers will tell you a page number when you ask for help, But students don't want that. They want you to sit down with them, help explain something.

5.

limericks.

For this valentines day I work
But the hostess is shooting me smirks.
I'll show her what's up,
In the back of her truck
I guess that could be a good perk.

This valentines day is a bust
Call of duty 6 is a must
I'll do work until dawn
then go to exxon
because sweet tea is something I lust.

Valentines day is for pairs.
who partake in special affairs.
They go out to dinner.
then become sinners.
and enjoy in the morning some pears.

Philosophy on life..

I could talk for days about my outlook on life.
But to sum it all up I don't want to be an ant.

"Hey. Could we do that again? I know we haven't met, but I don't want to be an ant. You know? I mean, it's like we go through life with our antennas bouncing off one another, continuously on ant autopilot, with nothing really human required of us. Stop. Go. Walk here. Drive there. All action basically for survival. All communication simply to keep this ant colony buzzing along in an efficient, polite manner. "Here's your change." "Paper or plastic?' "Credit or debit?" "You want ketchup with that?" I don't want a straw. I want real human moments. I want to see you. I want you to see me. I don't want to give that up. I don't want to be an ant, you know?" - Waking Life.

I think that this is possibly the most sense anyone has ever made.
I am a human, and so are you.
We are supposed to interact with one another. To share experiences, to relate, to learn from one another. But we go through life without that sense of belonging because we refuse to put ourselves out there, because we fear failure. So everyone continues on, with the same routine.

wish people would take more social chances. Like say hi to a stranger, or shoot the breeze with random person. I think that would curve the hostility between people. It would break the ice for future conversation, and make those people seem more approachable to others.

I just wish people were more open and willing to connect with one another.

I also think that common courtesy is a virtue to live by. I wouldn't say i believe in karma. I just think that we should be nice for the sake of being nice. Were all here for the same reason

Life altering....

My life has taken many turns.
for good and for worse, I have seen my fair share.

Family problems have plagued me for many years. I used to have no real Home.
Left to fend for myself because of a filthy disease that has infected my life.

I believe what has shaped me is for my eyes only, because of the negative impact it has had on me.

What's mine is mine.

I trust no one.
I believe in myself.
and i show no weakness.

Everything that has happened to me has made me a very strong minded person.
I have found who i am, I have discovered my own belief system,

i have found............. ME.

I look at the world from a different perspective now.
I care about people, about being a Human Being.

I watched this movie once called waking life
this quote kind of explains it.

Hey. I don't want to be an ant, you know?

Everyone has there stories.
But there is one common thing that bonds us all.
The fact that we are human, We are supposed to interact, and to learn from each other.
But were held back by societies boundaries.

My life changing event has definitely Opened my eyes up to the world around me.
I'm no longer a pre-programmed robot that moves through life like an ant.
But rather a FREE person,
Free of the religious dogma our society presents.
Free of the social boundaries, that restrict human curiosity.

I would never change any of it.

Random Post!!!!

My post of the day is going to be about drifting. Its something that i find very interesting and and looking to pursue. Drifting is the art of sliding your car sideways around a corner. Hugging the inside line and throwing out the back end resulting in a controlled slide. Its a technique that takes much practice and is defiantly an acquired skill. I have many friends who drift and there stories and ideas help me a lot. I own a nissan 240sx which is a good, low dollar starter drift car. A drift car needs to first be a RWD car. Then you need a lower than stock, and stiff suspension setup. You also need to have a locking rear end or welded differential. After all that its left up to driver skill.
Pictures, pictures, pictures.

UNDAWATA!!!

Under the surface, Between the hot volcanoes, Beyond the vast sea plane, lies the great utopia of Atlantis. With the competitive under water polo, and sea horse races, Atlantis is the Mecca of underwater civilization. Poseidon, the king of Atlantis and god of the sea, rules with an iron fist.
But the people there are very quite and civil, there are no cars because well, they live underwater
and all have tails.

Poems...

She moves like a penguin, without flight
of stupid words and pointless lies.
my face turns red, filled with spite.
when she speaks, my thought dies.
she is so unaware, she cannot see the light.
i avoid interaction, eye to eye.

Im infected with your stupidity
with half a brain, or maybe less
there's not a thought in your proximity.
your words are nothing, not absorbed but surpressed.
Do something productive, not limit your activity.
Your in a hole, knowing nothing of success.

Every word makes me cringe.
every move makes me freeze.
we put up walls, but you impinge.
We ignore but you appease
We push you to the fringe
You are nothing but disease

Nickname...

My nickname is kind of ridiculous. It was given to me by my long time football coach kelly. It was Maddog, because I was always 110% on the field. Plus, the name Madison is a little girly for the game of football. He would call me Maddog every practice my first year playing and it started to catch on with my team mates. Before i knew it, my whole team was calling me Maddog. At first I didn't like the nickname, but after a while it began to grow on me.

ALL ABOUT ME!!

I'm a free thinker.
I'm a philosopher.
I'm strong Minded.

I'm a very complex person.

I'm not easily influenced by the world around me. I form by own opinions based off of my idea of right and wrong.
I help people out of the goodness in my heart, not because it benefits me.
I know where i belong in this world, regardless of how you label me.
I am confident, and I know who i am, that's something rare in a high school student.
I accept people for who they are, not what they look like.
I think respect is key, without it there is no order.

thats enough about me, what about you?

Greatest invention

the greatest invention of the decade would definitely have to be the xbox 360. It changed the face of gaming forever. The amazing graphics and Dolby 5.1 surround sound offered by the xbox 360 are unmatched by any other game console on the market today. The xbox 360 is the major game console represented by the Major League Gaming association. The consoles potential isn't even completely reached. But with the release of Project Natal in summer of 2010 it will be. It will be a motion capture more advanced than any other motion capture gaming device on the market today. With real time interaction with video game characters, its bound to open doors for future development. The xbox 360 is a very powerful game console, and one of the most recognized consoles in gaming history. that's why i think its one of the greatest inventions of the decade.
