challenge #4

Write a post about an environmental field trip you went on, maybe to the rubbish dump or cleaning up a creek etc.

When i was in the fifth grade we went on a field trip to the city landfill. It was a little gross, seeing trash from the day before baking in the sun like a nice cake. Plus, the surrounding creeks were filled with algae and trash. But a plus was that it was a really fun experience, seeing how the whole process works. From delivery, processing, sorting, and eventually the burial, its a very tech savvy operation. Our bus driver definitely added to the whole experience. By cracked hilarious jokes, and doing other things that made the trip really fun. He actually drove are bus halfway up a hill then rolled it backwards down the hill and across the bridge which didn't make the parents too happy.

Pictures... makeup

Using photos of yourself on your blog, I think can be useful in many ways, and should be done at your discretion. Having real life photos of yourself on your blog could be useful in many different ways. In describing oneself, making a statement about yourself, etc. It's pretty universal. So it should be up to the blogger to know whether it is appropriate. Obviously a person should be able to deviate between a photo being school appropriate or not. So that undermines the appropriate vs. inappropriate argument.

The main argument in students being able to use their pictures, is 'predators' lurking the digital jungle. I understand how a photo could be provocative and misleading, but if it is within the school guidelines it should be appropriate for everyone in the world to see, without being aroused.

Using self photos is a universal way to express oneself. It tells a story, shows yourself, and helps describe you.

I live.....

I live in a place where people take vacations. Its usually sunny and warm considering we live in a tropical climate. I can throw a stone from my backyard, and it will land in the gulf of Mexico. It's something very close to paradise. Florida, specifically Bradenton, Florida is where i reside.

Its pretty nice here, I think that I see it differently because I have lived here my whole life. But living within minutes of Anna Maria Island is definitely a plus considering that its a vacation destination for many Northern travelers. Its right in between Tampa, and Sarasota so there are many different things to do here. Like fishing, hunting, Tampa's night life, and beaching it. Growing

HellaFlush...

The hellaflush trend is a car styling technique that is sweeping the nation. Fast cars, slammed on the ground, with sick fitment and BIG wheels.
Heres what I'm talking about.

The deep dish look is sought after in the car world. Perfect wheel fitment is a must. To achieve this there has to be virtually no clearance between the tire and body. Giving the flush look. There's many different ways to lower a car. Coilovers which is a dampener and gives you a tighter ride, Air ride which gives you the option of raising and lowering the car, and spring strut combo for a lower ride hight. Either way, you can still achieve the stance, and look you are trying to achieve.
